I'm Not A Robot

A tick-box sign on your chest and a nine-square picture grid in your hand: select all squares with traffic lights. A very good costume for anyone who has failed one of these more than twice.

What you need

  • Two pieces of cardboard
  • Black marker
  • Rope for shoulder straps
  • A ruler

How to make it

  1. 1

On the first board, draw a square tick box on the left with a tick in it, and write “I'm not a robot” next to it.

  2. 2

On the second board, rule a three-by-three grid. Draw a tiny doodle in each square: a tree, a bike, a car, a house, a dog, a boat.

  3. 3

Tick a few of the squares. Fill the rest with scribble so it looks like you are still deciding.

  4. 4

Make two holes in the first board and add rope shoulder straps. Hold the grid in one hand.

Make it better

  • Ask people to select all squares with a robot.
  • Stay very still and blink once a minute.

Questions

Is this a particular company's check?

No. It is a generic human-check box, not any one site's design.

Wear it in front of your own haunted CCTV

Upload four photos of your house and Cursed Cam turns them into a night-time security monitor where something is very wrong. Put it on the TV by the door.
