Why scary security camera footage works
Fixed angle. Grainy night vision. A timestamp in the corner. Nobody is holding the camera, so nobody is there to scream or explain. It feels like footage nobody meant to capture, and that's why it gets under your skin.
Now put that on your own landing, the one you walk past at 2am. You upload photos of your home. We turn them into night-time security cameras. You name them. AI makes the rest. Then you sit on the sofa and watch your own house misbehave.
What the ghosts actually do
Each camera gets three clips: a quiet one, one with people passing, and one where something is wrong. That might be a figure at the end of the landing, a shadow crossing the kitchen, a creature at the bottom of the garden, or the lights failing one room at a time.
On Haunt, a story moves from camera to camera. The thing in the CELLAR turns up on STAIRS a minute later. Then the power cuts out across the whole building. The monitor drops cameras to NO SIGNAL and flips to night vision as it goes.
It's fiction, and we say so
Everything on the monitor is generated. It isn't evidence of ghosts, intruders or anything else, and it shouldn't be passed off as real.
So please don't post it as a genuine sighting, and don't use it to convince someone their house is haunted. Especially not kids or anyone who'd lose sleep over it. It's for ghost-story nights, Halloween parties and making your friends jump before you show them how it was made. Only upload places you own or have permission to film.

Can I post it online?
If you do, say it's made up. Don't present it as a real ghost caught on security camera. Downloadable MP4s without a watermark come with Pro.
Does it need real cameras in my house?
No. Just photos. Daytime phone photos are fine, we turn them into night-time security stills.
What does the power cut do?
On Haunt and Pro, the lights fail across the building and cameras drop out one by one, so the whole monitor goes dark together.
