Cursed Cam

An AtmosFX alternative where the haunted house is yours

AtmosFX makes good prerecorded Halloween scenes to project on your windows. Cursed Cam does something different: it puts your own home on a haunted security monitor.

What AtmosFX does well

AtmosFX sells digital decorations: prerecorded scenes of ghosts, zombies, witches and the like that you play through a projector onto a window, wall or screen. Packs cost roughly $7 to $45 each.

They're designed to be seen from outside, so neighbors and trick-or-treaters see a ghost drifting past your front window. They're good at that, and they're cheap. If what you want is a spooky window for the street, AtmosFX is a solid choice and we'd tell you so.

Where Cursed Cam is different

A prerecorded pack is the same for everyone who buys it. Cursed Cam starts from photos of your house.

Your FRONT DOOR, your BACK GARDEN, your CELLAR, each turned into a night-time security camera with clips made only for it. A quiet clip, people passing, and something wrong. It plays on your TV as a 90s security console, with timestamps, REC, motion alerts and NO SIGNAL dropouts. It's for the guests inside, who recognize every room on screen because they've just been in it.

Personalized Halloween digital decorations, honestly priced

A single AtmosFX pack costs less than Cursed Cam. We're not going to pretend otherwise.

Party is $79 for 4 cameras and 12 clips. Haunt is $169 for 9 cameras, 27 clips, a story that moves across cameras and a power cut through the whole building. What you're paying for is footage made from your own place, which a prerecorded scene can't be. You pay once, it takes about an hour, and free remakes are included.

Use both

They don't fight over the same wall. Put a projected ghost in the front window for the street, and run Cursed Cam on the living room TV for the people who came in.

No projector? Cursed Cam doesn't need one. Open your private monitor link on a laptop, AirPlay or Chromecast it, or open it in a smart TV browser. If you do have a projector, the monitor is just a fullscreen web page, so it'll play there too.

Good for

  • Projected ghost in the window, Cursed Cam on the TV inside
  • A monitor of your own rooms for a house party
  • A haunted house screen when you don't own a projector
  • A 3×3 wall with a story that moves room to room

Pay once. Keep it.

Questions

Is Cursed Cam affiliated with AtmosFX?

No. AtmosFX is a separate company. We mention them because people looking for Halloween digital decorations often find both.

Is Cursed Cam cheaper than AtmosFX?

No. A single AtmosFX pack is cheaper. Cursed Cam costs $79 to $299 once, because every clip is made from your own photos.

Do I need a projector?

No. Cursed Cam plays on any TV or laptop. A projector works if you have one, but it's built to look like a security monitor on a screen.

Can I show Cursed Cam in a window for the street?

You can, but it's designed for people inside who recognize the rooms. For a window display, a projection pack is the better fit.

What if I change my mind after buying?

You can refund yourself any time before generation starts. Once your clips are being made, we can't refund, because the AI compute is spent.
