What you need

• A large cardboard tube or rolled cardboard
• Red paint
• A paper strip for the wrapper
• Black marker
• A cone of red card for the hat

How to make it

1. 1

   Roll the cardboard into a tube that fits round your body, and tape it closed.

   Paint the whole tube red.

3. 3

   Paint a band of paper with the word Crayon and wrap it round the middle.

4. 4

   Cut a cone from red card for the tip.

5. 5

   Make a few more to be a box of crayons with friends.

Make it better

• Go as a group, each in a different colour.
• Carry a roll of paper.
