A ghost caught on your own doorbell camera

Upload a photo of your porch, hallway or garden. We turn it into night-vision security footage where something stands by the door when it should not be there.

How the prank works

You make a private monitor link of your own porch, then show it to a friend or family member and say, "Look what my camera caught last night." The footage looks like a security camera: a timestamp, grain, a camera name like FRONT DOOR and a figure where nobody should be.

The clips are AI-made from your photo. The view is a high security-camera angle of your place, not a copy of any doorbell app's screen.

What to photograph

Photograph the porch, the front door, the driveway or the garden path, ideally from a high corner and in the evening. Include the real doors, gates and steps in the picture, because the figure has to arrive and leave through places that exist.

Keep people and pets out of the shot. We take them out of the night still anyway, but a clean photo gives a cleaner result.

Prank responsibly

Make it for people who will enjoy the joke, and tell them within the evening. Never use it to claim a real break-in, to report something to the police, or to scare someone who is vulnerable or alone.

Only photograph places you are allowed to photograph. Choose a lower scare level from the order screen if the audience is young.

How long it takes and what it costs

Filming takes about an hour once you press start.

Party is $99 for a 2×2 grid: 4 cameras, 12 clips. Haunt is $199 for a 3×3 grid: 9 cameras, 27 clips. You pay once. If you want to send a clip in a chat, downloading every clip as an MP4 with no watermark is included in Pro and $19 on the other plans. You can refund yourself any time before generation starts.

Why it costs what it does

Every clip is made fresh for your place on the best AI there is, because cheaper AI gets the details wrong: people the wrong size, feet sliding, someone melting into the floor. The best costs more per second, and we pay for every second.

THE MOST REALISTIC VIDEO
The people and the scares are filmed on the most realistic video AI there is, and the most expensive: about 16 cents for every second of footage.
YOUR ROOMS, AT NIGHT
Each photo becomes a night-time security still that keeps your real rooms, furniture and doors where they are.
WATCHED BEFORE YOU SEE IT
Every clip is planned for its camera, then watched frame by frame when it's done. One that looks wrong is filmed again, on us.

A Haunt monitor is 27 clips, about 6 minutes of footage, made for your place alone.

Questions

There is nothing to install. You upload your photos in the browser, and the footage plays as a private web page on any screen.

Not inside the camera's own app. You upload a photo or a screenshot of your porch and we make the clips on a separate monitor link. Cursed Cam is not affiliated with Ring, Blink or any other camera brand.

It is made to look like security footage, with grain, a timestamp and night vision, but it is AI-made and can show small tell-tale signs. It works best as a prank for a few seconds, not as evidence of anything.

You can share the private monitor link, or download the clips as MP4s: that is included in Pro and costs $19 as an add-on on Party and Haunt.

You set the scare level from 1 to 5 when you order, from Eerie to Nightmare, so it suits a quiet joke or a proper fright.

You can refund yourself any time before generation starts. Once your clips are being made, we can't refund, because the AI compute is spent.
